The Auction Link is not an auction house. We don't value properties, conduct sales or act as your agent. Our role is straightforward: we consider whether auction could be a suitable route for a property, and if so, we make the introduction to an established auction house suited to the opportunity.
What We Actually Do
The UK and international property auction markets are fragmented. There are regional residential auctioneers, major national auction houses, specialist commercial and investment businesses, and international houses that focus exclusively on exceptional and high-value property. Each has different buyer databases, geographical strengths, property specialisms, fee structures and methods of sale. Choosing the wrong auction house — or approaching auction without understanding whether it's the right route at all — can be costly. The Auction Link exists to bridge that gap. We consider the property, its circumstances and its likely market, and where appropriate we make a direct introduction to an auction house we believe is suited to the opportunity. You then speak with the auction house directly, without obligation, before deciding whether to proceed.

The Process
From first contact to introduction, the process is straightforward.
Tell Us About the Property
Send us some basic information — the property type, location, approximate value and your circumstances or objectives. There's no lengthy form and no commitment involved.
We Consider the Opportunity
We review the information and consider whether auction appears to be a route worth exploring. We also consider which auction house or houses may be appropriate given the property's type, location and likely market.
We Come Back to You
We'll let you know our initial view. If we believe an introduction could be worthwhile, we'll explain who we have in mind and why. If we don't think auction is the right route, we'll say so.
We Make the Introduction
With your permission, we introduce you or your representative directly to the auction house. From that point, you deal with the auction house directly.
The Auction House Assesses the Property
The auction house will speak with you about the property in detail — its suitability for auction, likely guide or reserve pricing, the recommended method of sale, fees, marketing approach and timetable.
You Decide
An introduction carries no obligation. If you decide to proceed, your instruction is directly with the auction house. If you decide not to, nothing further happens.
What Does The Auction Link Charge?
There is no charge to the property owner or their representative for the introduction. Where an introduction results in a successful transaction, The Auction Link may receive a referral or introduction fee from the auction house. This does not affect the auction house's obligation to explain its own fees and terms to you clearly before you decide whether to proceed.
UK Auctions or Global Auctions?
The Auction Link works across both the UK and international property auction markets. For most residential and investment properties in the UK, we consider established UK auction houses. For exceptional, high-value or distinctive properties where the natural buyer audience may be international, we consider specialist auction houses operating across global markets. In some cases, both may be worth exploring. We'll give you our view when we consider the opportunity.
